Heritage Aviation has always been at the forefront of disaster relief and rescue operations in the mountains. For every critical emergency in high-altitude regions, we are among the first to respond. With deep expertise in mountain flying, we regularly carry out rescue missions in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, supporting state governments during natural disasters.
During the 2012 Uttarkashi floods, our helicopters were deployed for one month to assist the district administration in relief and rescue operations. On 16 June 2013, a massive tragedy struck Kedarnath. By the morning of 17 June, Heritage Aviation became the first helicopter operator to land in Kedarnath and immediately begin relief and rescue efforts.
In August 2025, Uttarkashi faced one of its most severe natural disasters when a sudden cloudburst hit the Dharali and Harsil regions, Heritage Aviation helicopters became a lifeline for stranded communities, carrying out relief missions in areas that were completely inaccessible by road.
